Brunch Enchiladas…need I say more???

Clay Hughes

Beer Kitchen Brunch Enchiladas Probably not…not much needs to be said about brunch enchiladas…but I’ll say a few things anyhow.

Beer Kitchen in Westport is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Kansas City. Their entire menu is incredible (whether your a meat eater or veg head), but their brunch is far superior to most other KC establishments. I credit a huge portion of that to their brunch enchiladas (a mix of chorizo sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, green chilies, chipotle cheddar, sour cream and crispy jalapeno straws)

If you haven’t had these yet, do yourself a favor and go IMMEDIATELY! If you’re extra hungry, add a side of their B&G (sausage OR mushroom gravy) or some truffle-parmesan fries.

You can thank me later.

The Smokestack @ Beer Kitchen

J Mize

I must say that when I heard that One80 was no longer, I was none too happy with that fact. When I heard a “beer kitchen” took it’s place (across the street from renowned beer mecca The Foundry none the less) I was even less impressed. After eating at Beer Kitchen tonight I have one thing to say…I WAS WRONG! Holy Burnt Ends stuffed inside of a Hamburger KC fans!

The Smokestack is described on the menu as “smoked gouda & burnt end-stuffed burger, whisky bbq glaze, chipotle aioli & crispy jalapeno straws on potato bun.” Let me repeat– burnt ends and cheese stuffed into a hamburger made of McGonigle’s custom blend of beef brisket, short rib & chuck tenderloin.

If you like BBQ and you like burgers–and let’s face it, if you’re in KC you probably do–then you should definitely give this “burger” a go!

*Don’t forget the fries
